About the project
Tymar is a Chuvash word that means "root" as a tree root and also as base or origin.
This work is based on Chuvash pagan beliefs, funeral traditions and author's personal experience.

Here and now performer comprehends different feelings and conditions in the context of lost culture bonds and historical memory. She tries to find connection with this part of her identity. This part presents authentic movement, work with different requisite and homages to pagan rituals.
Live performance is accompanied by video art. On screen there are moments of liminal conditions and transition to the magical space.

Started from learning classical ballet and turned to contemporary dance and authentic movement. As a choreographer works with dancers, actors, theatrical and film directors and composers.
