About the project
Material: steel. chain. beads. thread
year: 2025

This object is my first touch on the exploration of my own identity. I am chuvash by origin, but i left my hometown in early childhood. For a long time, felt like a plant without roots. The work became an
attempt to re-establish a connection with my home - lost, but living inside me.
The shape of the artifact is inspired by the traditional chuvash women's headdress - heavy ringing, shining. It intertwines practicality and sacredness: it serves as a talisman against dark forces, a dowry, a source of strength and a symbol of a woman's dignity. it is chain mail that reflects light, and an amulet that preserves the memory of ancestors.
My object reinterprets this form in steel - as a sign of feminine resilience, connection with natural cycles and inner light that remains even if everything external collapses.
