Alison Klymchuk encodes «home» through numerical symbols of the house (lost), ladder (escape), roof (protection), all composed with the music note (joy). Nartalka’s imagery evokes hierarchal powers and our battle against them, while holding onto an instinct for hope within conflicts that attempt to erase our humanity.
