There is no face of modernity in the portrait, the portrait with contemporary art does not coincide with a person. Like on a black-and-white printer: only one black color.. The starting point of the idea is that a person in modernity can no longer hear themselves, and in whose mouth my first solo project “White Noise” is born — in the question: what happens to the image when it disappears? What does a person hear when they listen and not speak, when they try to be silent?
In the white noise, like in blindness, the human portrait becomes a surface. The portrait of modernity is strictly made of one color — white. Silence, emptiness, white light, the feeling of will — all disappear faster than anything else. Modernity cannot define them. The portrait of modernity is a body turned inside out, incapable of leaving a trace. White noise is the total externalization of any kind of information, and therefore I started working with white paint, which became the material for shaping the image.
