Ninja artist.
I was not even supposed to be here, but I’m exhibiting the sculpture.
I’m curator of Helikon Art Center, artist. I’m 23 years old, from the Far East of Russia. I don’t build any career or pursue any artistic dreams. I’m just learning to work with all kinds of materials. I work with stone, wood, found objects, metal, paper, garbage, plastic, electricity, and glue. Actually, my dream is to build my home. So I prepare. And that’s what my artistic practice is inspired by.
My most recent work is called ‘Tumanyan Animal Trail’. It’s a trail in the mountains of Armenia with four wooden sculptures of animals that suffered from the concept of ‘taming’. I used old building wood and nails.
